Day 2 consisted of going to La Jolla Beach. We had no idea how this was going to go, seeing as Lucy has never been near sand, nor that much water. She LOVED LOVED LOVED the beach. She couldn't get enough of it. She would run out to the water and run back in and then do it all over again. If you tried to take her away, she would get mad. She loved putting her hands in the sand (and eating a little, unfortunately), and loved sitting in the water as the waves came crashing into her. It was so much fun to watch. Here are a few pictures from the day.
