Chillin at Home

We think that Lucy is the cutest, most perfect little baby ever, and here is the evidence to prove it. She likes to chill on the boppy pillow, which has turned out to be the best baby product we have as of yet. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Heading Home

After 3 long days at the hospital, they finally let us go home on Thursday. All of the staff at Community North were so nice and helpful, but we were definitely ready to be let loose on our own. Luckily, Lucy likes her carseat. She fell asleep as soon as we got her all strapped in and slept all the way home.

Introducing Lucy Marie Eder

Lucy Marie Eder was born on August 19th, 2008 at 2:29PM. She tipped the scales at 7lb 15oz and is 21 inches in length. Tracy felt her first contraction around 4am on August 18th, so we labored for about 32 hours total. What an emotional ride it was, but Lucy is healthy and that makes mommy and daddy very happy and proud!

As you can see, Lucy is going to be tall just like her daddy. Let's hope she gets her looks from mommy :)

Lucy was wide awake right after birth and she tried to take in as much as possible. This is the first time Lucy and mommy snuggled up together. Tracy handled this whole process like a pro and daddy is very proud of her. Lucy and daddy are lucky to have such a strong woman on their side.

Lucy even took time to snuggle with daddy. He is very happy/excited/nervous/proud and cannot wait to bring Lucy home so she can meet Molly (the doggie).

She is just a beautiful little girl. We are so blessed to have a healthy daughter.

Check back here from time to time as we will continue to post new photos of our baby Lucy.
