Landscaping Fun

Widened front bed, curved and dug new bed down side of house...planted three new emerald & gold euonymus in the front and four miss kim lilacs down the side...the unfinished portion in the back will house a sargent crabapple tree that will be delivered and installed next week sometime.

Dug new flowerbed along the side of our deck and planted 5 Goldflame Spireas.

Sargent Crabapple tree is ordered for this corner on the left...still have quite a bit of beds to cut.

Lucy makes anything fun...even landscaping

She is quite the helper...

The trouble was getting her to put mulch INTO the bed instead of taking it out and throwing it everywhere!

Lucy loves riding in the wheelbarrow

We finally put up a flag in the front of our house!

Easter

I was able to get Easter weekend off from work, so we had a really great weekend. Easter morning, we hung out at home so that the Easter bunny could visit Lucy. We then went to my Grandpa and Grandma Navarra's for Easter lunch and spent the afternoon with my side of the family. It was a very relaxing day. Here are some pictures from the day.
Lucy's Easter Bunny loot

The only picture I have of her with the basket. She wouldn't look at the camera, she was too interested in taking stuff out of the basket.

Once she saw the goldfish, they immediately had to be opened, so she had "blub blubs" (as she calls them) for breakfast.

Sorting through all of her new stuff

Opening up her gift from Nana and Papaw - she got a Woody doll

NCAA Final Four

Jason and I spent part of Easter weekend at the Final Four championship games at Lucas Oil Stadium. We have never been more proud to be Butler Alumni. It was such an exciting weekend and although they didn't come away with the championship, they had a fantastic season. One of the best parts of the weekend was seeing so many old friends as it seemed like every Butler alumni had traveled to Indy to watch the Bulldogs play. It was by far one of the greatest experiences of a lifetime. We are very excited for the next season. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
