SIX Months Old

(Lucas - left, Liam - right)
The twins are 6 months old.  Crazy how the time goes.  This picture is getting much harder to take, as there are 2 little boys that want to grab for the blocks.  We may have to start being more creative with the blocks in the future.  It's also impossible to get a picture with both of them looking and smiling at the same time.  They are cutie pies none the less.  They are still growing like crazy.  They had their 6 month appointment and everything looks great.  Lucas is now 16 pounds 1 ounce and is 26 1/2 inches long.  Liam is now 15 pounds 11 ounces and is 26 1/2 inches long.  Lucas has finally gone by his brother.  He has been the smaller twin since birth, but not anymore.  Of course, 5 ounce difference isn't much, but still. They still only have the 2 bottom teeth, but I swear they are working on more.  They are rolling both ways.  They still love the exersaucer, but are infatuated with the jumperoo.  They are jumping machines.  Still working on eating solid foods.  They've tried most fruits and veggies and so far haven't disliked anything they have tried.  Lucas seems to be a little better at eating than Liam, but I'm sure that won't last long.  The pediatrician wants us to go see a Craniofacial Plastic Surgeon to have the boys heads looked at.  She just wants to be certain that no intervention (i.e. helmets) is necessary to help round out their heads.  Apparently the sooner you do it, the better the outcome, so she just wants their opinion.  We'll be making that appointment in the coming weeks.  Hopefully it will all go well.  Overall, still enjoying our crazy life with three little ones.

Lucy's First Day of Preschool

Today was Lucy's first day at her new preschool.  She no longer goes to the daycare that she was going up until now since I am only working part time now.  She is just down the street at a church based preschool.  She goes to school twice a week from 9:30 to 1.  She has to take a backpack to bring her goodies home and also has to take a lunch.  She was so excited to go to her first day.  We are looking forward to a great year and seeing all the fun things she learns.
All dressed and ready to go with her new school gear
