Random Pictures

Lucy loves wearing everyone's shoes around the house
Lucy and her best friend Tori from next door.  They are only 4 days apart in age.  They absolutely LOVE playing together.  They also have a few arguments about toys, but overall, they play very well together.
Lucy and Mommy on Mother's Day
Lucy sporting her new look of having bangs. I couldn't stand her hair constantly being in her face even when it was in a ponytail, so I cut them myself.  It's amazing how such a small thing can change how she looks.  She instantly looked older.
After I cut her toenails, she thought she could do it by herself.
Lucy sporting her daily fake boo-boos.  Ever since she had a real boo-boo and actually needed a bandaid, she has insisted on wearing bandaids on both knees.  She then points to them and tells everyone that she sees that she has a boo-boo.

No, Mine

Mommy was trying to enjoy an ice cream treat, but a little thief kept yelling, "NO, mine."

Water Fun

What do you do when it is scorching hot outside?  You play in the water.  We already had the slide.  Add in an $8 swimming pool, and you have hours of fun.  Lucy was a little frightened of the concept at first, but once we got her up the ladder and down the slide the first time, there was no stopping her.  I would say she went down that slide 100 times at least.

Fun with the Camera

I was messing with the settings on my camera the other day to see what it could all do. I think my camera is probably better than I give it credit for, I just need to figure out everything it can do. Here are some of the pictures that I took that I really liked.

Fun in the Sun

Lucy is absolutely obsessed with the outdoors. The minute we pull in the driveway or the minute she wakes up, one of her first words is always, "outside, outside." Getting her to come back indoors is always a chore. We decided to buy bikes these season as well with a trailor for Lucy. The first bike ride was filled with lots of crying. She wasn't used to the helmet and she was constantly worried about mommy because she couldn't see me since I wasn't pulling her. Jason took her by himself on another day, and it went much smoother, so hopefully the summer will be filled with lots of bike rides. Here are some recent pictures from being outside.

Day at the Zoo

Each month, Eleni, Jen, and I take a day off work to do some kind of activity. Things so far have included a spa day and a day shopping at the outlet mall. This time, we decided to bring the kids along and make a trip to the zoo. The weather was wonderful and despite the fact that both the giraffes and the penguins were off display, we had a fun time. We did decide however, that our next "girls day" off would be much more relaxing without the little ones in tow. Here are some pics from the day.

Lucy and Wes saying, "Where are the giraffes?"

Wes taking a look at the elephants

Lucy doing the same

Lucy and the Rhinos (you can sort of see one in the background). She called them hippos.

Wes sharing his goldfish with Lucy. Lucy would go up to him and say and sign "more, more" when she was all out.

Taking a look at the sharks

This is the best group shot I had on my camera. Wes and Olivia sat there perfectly the whole time, however my little one was impossible to keep still. Therefore, this is as good as I got. Maybe Jen got a better one on her camera.

Two Weekends, Two Weddings

Jason and I attended two weddings in the month of April. In back to back weekends, two of my coworkers (both of the brides) in the oncology clinic were married. We had so much fun. Both weekends had beautiful weather and beautiful brides.

The first weekend was Nicole and Matthew's wedding. Nicole looked stunning and everything about the day was gorgeous. The whole crew from the clinic was there and we had a ton of fun. Here are some pictures from the evening.

Next was Sasha and Michael's wedding. Sasha was absolutely beautiful and the ceremony and reception were gorgeous. Here are a few pictures from the night.
