Recent Pictures

Watching Daddy while he shovels some snow. She eventually grabbed her coat and held it at the door saying, "bye-bye."

If she sees her boots anywhere, she insists on wearing them. Below are 2 pictures from the day we got the boots where she did the same thing, only she was already wearing her PJs, so we had to accomodate her request (or demand) with the following "super classy" look. She will love us some day for posting these pictures.

Lucy likes to wrestle, particularly on the couches. This time of the year, wrestling leads to crazy hair.

Cheesing for the camera. She will actually say "cheese" if you ask her to

She loves wearing hats around the house, especially any of them that are daddy's

Date with Wes

Lucy recently went to the Children's Museum with her friend Wes (along with Eleni and I, of course). They had a great time running around through the various exhibits. Wes showed her all about the cool stuff at the museum, because this was her first time going. We have a membership now though, so there will be many more trips in our future. Here are some pictures from the day.
Playing with the "glass" pieces. All of the holes were filled with pieces when those 2 got there. They had fun taking them all out.
Lucy and Wes "baked" all kinds of goodies
Lucy could have splashed in the water all day long
Wes and Lucy's tea party with the bears
Lucy clung to me for dear life during the entire carousel ride
The only picture of the two of them on the carousel. You can never get 2 toddlers to look at the camera.

Blog Update

My goal is to update the blog this evening with new posts. I have several things to update, so check back soon!

Haiti Update

I realized that I never updated on my previous Haiti post. All members of the the mission team were located safely. They were able to make it out of the building that they were in shortly before it collapsed. Unfortunately, two locals from Fondwa did not survive. They traveled to a nearby town where they were flown out of Haiti back to the United States. They are all home safe and sound with their familes. GOD kept them safe during a very difficult time. Thanks for everyones thoughts and prayers.

Haiti

I am writing to ask everyone that reads our blog to please say a special prayer for everyone effected by the earthquake in Haiti. Our good friend Lauren's mom is currently in Haiti on a mission trip with several others from my hometown. They are still waiting to hear from the group and the situation that they are in. Please pray for their safety and ability to return home to their families. Thanks!
